White wine “Cuvée Béracius”

The Domaine Chatenay winery is located at the foot of a small Quintaine church between the villages of Viré and Clessé. The calcareous clay soil with a south-west orientation allows to take advantage of the microclimate of the Sâone Valley, which, thanks to the strong sunlight, gives the taste of rich, sweet fruits and honey and allows a pleasant aroma.

The wines are grown sustainably, meaning no herbicides are used to cultivate the soil and a traditional type of vinification in thermo-regulated steel barrels is used.
